I had to publish a post about the only person I've truly connected, on multiple levels, with here in Oakland, my friend Lori. She's awesome! We have a lot in common and we've had a lot of fun! This picture was taken before our first hot mommas' night out. We went dancin' in the city (San Francisco). She's also a hairdresser and cut, colored and styled my hair. Marvelous, no?! I

Don't wait up!
It seems that our kids have a similar connection. They love hanging out together too. Soren always gets really excited when I tell him that Lori and Holiday are coming over. Their names are the only ones I've ever heard him try to say.
They are so cute together. They both sign "friend" when either seeing or talking about the other one. They also give each other
the sweetest hugs. They'll lay their head on each other's shoulder and I've seen Soren gently pat Holiday's back.
I love to watch them play. This picture looks like Holiday just told Soren something super silly and he's laughing and saying "Oh Holiday, you are just too much."
Soren had so much fun with his Easter basket. We had a hard time deciding which picture to post. He got a wind up chick, bug, fish, talking rabbit and gummi farm animals.
He LOVED hunting for eggs! We have had egg hunts inside and outside almost every day since Easter.
Soren dumped all his eggs out on the sidewalk and I thought it made a really cool picture.
You can see the smile on his face when he found this one. He would also say "yay!" almost every time.
Ecstatic to find a surprise inside his egg.
