A Visit From Grandma Linda 2/22/08

Oh my goodness! It was so cute to see Grandma Linda and Soren together. He doesn't get to see her very often, so he was so excited! They had a lot of fun playing and reading many, many books. He kept saying "manma" and doing the sign for grandma while she was here.

I think she was pretty excited too : ) Love you Grandma Linda! Thanks for hanging out with us and taking such good care of Soren while we were under the weather. xoxo

Traveling back to Oakland

Thanks again Gerber family for letting us stay at your beautiful guest house and for taking good care of our boy. It really meant a lot to us. You're awesome! Bye.

Our happy little traveler saying hi.

He loves his bear bear. He won't go to sleep without it.

Tuckered out after a long, fun weekend getaway.

Disneyland/California Adventure for J & L's 8th Wedding Anniversary

Happy to be spending some one on one time at such a fun place!
Thanks to Angela, Jen and Christopher who watched Soren all
day. We love you guys <3!

J caught the ferris wheel in the background. Sweet!

On Screamin'. This ride is fast and Jared still got nice composition. Man, you're good.

Standing in line for Soarin' over California.

This was probably my favorite. It was hilarious because J kept trying to take pictures on the Matterhorn and it was very jerky. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time : )

Finn had a jump castle at the party

Check it out mom!

This thing is cool.

We had so much fun that I had to make a whole post to share the pictures.

Woah!

San Diego trip

The first event was the 4th birthday of Soren's cousin, Finn.
It was rocket themed.

Jared appropriately decorated Finn's gift to fit the theme.
He cracks me up!

The rocket pinata broke and Soren spots the loot.

He likes this game.

Good grief growth spurt

Ok, Soren woke up at about 2am and was calling for momma. When I went in, I gave him a kiss and hug and told him that he needed to try to lay down and go back to sleep with bear bear. This usually works, but this time he started to cry and sign for food. So, to make a long story short, he ate an egg, a 4 oz. yogurt and 1 more veggie link. After that, he was content to lay down in his bed and fall fast asleep. I cannot believe this!

Food, glorious food

Wow! Now I know why Soren wakes up at 4 or 5am acting like he's starving. That boy can eat! This is what he had or dinner on Thursday the 7th of February: 2 bananas, some sweet potatoes, 4 veggie sausage links and a few bites of bread. No, I am not kidding. Crazy, huh?
